2007 has been another year that your views and voices have been heard at the White House, U.S. House of Representatives, and U.S. Senate. We continue to deliver tens of thousands of postcards, petitions, and surveys. Many of you have also included handwritten notes, which we have included with our deliveries. In addition, requests continue for copies of our book, Guide to Social Security and Your Retirement Future. Thousands of these worthwhile guides continue to be disseminated. 2007 has proved an increase in phone calls requesting information and allowing you the opportunity to discuss your views. We are always delighted to hear from you. Please continue your activism, involvement, and interest 2008.
2008 is an election year. While we cannot advocate the defeat or election of any political candidate for public office, we do encourage you to be registered to vote, educated on the issues you are concerned with and vote on Election Day.
Your views and voices will be essential to influence the issues that matter most to you during 2008.
