American Federation of Senior Citizens seeks to involve America's seniors by educating them on issues that can have a direct influence on their lives. We also seek their opinions through polls, questionnaires, and surveys. We want to know what issues they believe are of utmost importance. Through polls, questionnaires, and surveys, we are able to serve our members in the most effective ways.
American Federation of Senior Citizens also makes itself available to its members to assist them in any problems with contacting their elected officials or agencies in our Nation's Capitol.

Issues that the American Federation of Senior Citizens continues to educate on include but are not limited to health care, Medicare and Medicaid, estate taxes, balanced budget, and retirement. We make sure that our nation's lawmakers are aware of the concerns of senior citizens and their opinions on current issues. Through petitions, letter writing, and surveys, we make sure that senior citizens' voices are heard.
